"On the seventeenth super moon of the year following a Tabasco Leap Year members shout dibs on Brown's Peak to join the HAZ Synonym Underground."
@HAZ_Hikebot
I'm beginning to think the Hikebot has been taking vacations to states with legalized pot.

I must have been going through a consciousness raising period of my life and missed this truly cinemagraphically gnarly movie.

You would hike 1,373 miles to follow the South Rim of Grand Canyon.
The North Rim is only 15 miles extra. @ HAZ_Hikebot
Interesting factoid. I'd like to see a GPS track for those rim distances. Where do the side canyons end? Technically the LCR could go all the way to Baldy, Cataract to Williams and Kanab to well, Kanab! Lots of long canyons in the northwest in the LMNRA too.

@chumley
I found this:
"The Canyon is just too big to see it all, measuring 277 miles by river and much longer by the rims. Between Lee’s Ferry and Lake Mead, the serrated edge of the South Rim runs for a stag-gering 1,373 miles. "
No GPS tracks of course.

@xsproutx
Which is exactly what the factoid says and also does exactly zero to answer the question of defining where that distance is measured.

I was more interested in the fact it named the terminuses... termini? Maybe that's common knowledge but wasn't to me

Perhaps should be in Grand Canyon forum but I'll put it here---I knew of this guy years ago on another forum user name of "carpeybiggs" and an amazing still photographer. Here is a link to an old film he made. If you overlook the mellowdrama has some awesome shots.
https://vimeo.com/danransom . Look at "The Last Great Unknown" about 22 minutes. Looks like Rich Rudow, Todd Martin and a few others in it.

The average Arizonan consumes 28 GALLONS (holy friggen cow) of alcohol annually! @HAZ_Hikebot
Does a beer count as 12oz toward the 28 gallons (3,584oz or about 300 beers -- fewer than 6 drinks per week), or just the ~0.75oz of actual alcohol in an average beer (which would require consuming 4700 beers, or about 13 per day) ?
I'm guessing the former, in which case the actual amount of pure alcohol consumed is a small fraction of 28 gallons, which is actually the amount of liquid that contains alcohol consumed.
Fireball and White Claws may skew the results.

I'm like 3 standard deviations out on the low end. I had 1 or 2 drinks before May. White Wine Spritzers!

@Pivo Lambda Lambda Lambda
Almost didn't get in when pledging at the UofA when my record player kicked on and, "Swing low, sweet Chariot", played, but they let me in.

Well, I tried, but they said I was too lewd. Something about repeatedly violating the bylaws. What can I say, I get half of one White Wine Spritzer in me and suddenly I'm more animal than man.
