Moving to Casa Grande / Phoenix / Kayenta / Anywhere

Well, I guess I'll have to change my screen name soon. My wife and I are going to be moving to Casa Grande before the end of the year. Listing the house for sale up in Page. No job yet, kinda scary, but my wife needs to go back to school full time. Even commuting to and from UofA, with the house prices in CG we'll save money over moving to El Pueblo. Big change - this will be my first time living off The Plateau since '99. Eeek!

She said something about the flux capacitor having carbon on the rototemp verbulator.
Or it was made by Ford I can't remember.

Sigh. It was the distributor. Cost an arm and a leg for the labor. I made it to Williams, I met one of the people I'll be working with, and I'm in a comfortable RV park (which is expensive) paid for a week. The wind was scary driving over here from Kingman. I took Rt. 66 as far as I could, which was not bad, but at Seligman there was no choice but to get on the 40. Very windy, very scary. Once past Ash Fork it was a lot better, though.

I am so glad to be here! I have one day to just relax, hike, ride my bike and swim at the RV park's indoor pool, and play my guitar. Not all at the same time. And Friday I start my job training!

More on that later! I'm keeping people guessing!

I bet that despite summer being so close, it is colder there this morning than you had all winter long.

That would be fun, but it probably pays a little over minimum wage. My job is going to be better than that, and it's not with the railway. I actually get to SEE the Canyon every day! :)
