I'm getting tired of driving up the Beeline for all my hikes and I've been wanting to check out some of the better Tucson hikes that I can do as dayhikes from Mesa. Leaving my house again at 5:30am.

Yeah, you're right there! Lots more vegetation. Maybe I should look now and see if they posted something in triplogs.

We made it out, and made decent time, too. My legs are finally starting to feel normal today.

That was a mother of a hike. Great hike. The weird thing is that my toes and knees were really hurting on the way down, and getting up was definitely a cardio workout but it didn't really gas me. However, my knees and toes recovered by the next day, but my legs are only starting to get back to normal today.

Finger downhill is a nasty angle for descent.
