Looking at the totals since it started yesterday, only one thing comes to mind: Judge Smails in Caddyshack saying,
"Don't you people have jobs?"

360 guesses, 233 unique, one word used 12 times...good one.

Over 200 guesses by the same person.

I don't think its very anonymous ... we all know exactly which people should be attending!

This 1,600 point thing isn't fair. :-({|= No need to go to Joe's meeting now.

Yeah - and some people seem to be exempt from the 1,600 point thing that limits other. The game is rigged.

I was wondering that also. Is it just from 1600-1700? Then back to normal?
One example 26 points

Okay, okay... I added it to the template.
Point Limit Per Photo for Advanced Users:
• 1600-1699 (4 Pt Limit)
• 1800-1899 (4 Pt Limit)
• 2000-2199 (4 Pt Limit)
• 2200+ (15 Pt Limit)
Perhaps this will cancel all previous received death threats

I think the top 3 have a lot of extra points because of that

I believe that persons that are retired and also live out of state should also be exempt as well....

Technically it was more difficult for them...
They didn't have the advantage of knowing ahead of time they should answer a fifty pointer before a slow run ;)

In the interest of full disclosure, SuperstionGuy spilled the beans earlier in this thread shortly after he hit the 1600 wall. I didn't make the most of it because fewer guessable photos were reaching high value then. The window after 1700 was nice, but the 1800 wall was a surprise, so Joe is right about that one.

Now that I've passed 1,800, I believe the
window should be slammed shut

We could take a poll but I think you'd be out numbered
BTW, if I recall correctly...

I don't know if I've whined about this one before - BUT - one thing I hate is when I
sort of think I know the answer but when I go to guess I'm told that I'm restricted from participation. I finally figured out that usually it's because I took that picture. BUT that doesn't mean that I know what it is.

Even though I can not participate I'm with ya Al. Sometimes I'll see one and think "oh I know this one!!!" only to realize I took it too
That sad part being I probably couldn't guess it anyways

I've found that I enjoy going back and looking at the solved ones. That way I always get the right answer

Sometimes I say to myself, "Oh I would have gotten that one" but mostly I say "Wow, I would have never guessed that" even on trails I've hiked.
