into a Wilderness area, i.e. 'leading them' on a 'guided tour', including the day and time, what would YOU do, if anything?

I'm asking from the moral/ethical/mind your own business angle...

Precisely my thoughts. Perhaps they will remember there is a private messaging function.

FWIW, for those that participated in this thread, I noticed today on the Zuckerbook that he has 'changed his mind' and will only be taking 15 people into the Wilderness...

@JasonCleghorn
Not on said website, but I heard it was just a trip to the Wave Cave anyways, looks like about .7 to .8 miles within wilderness boundary, I think most legitimate hikers could care less about the size of crowds at the Wave Cave, its a touristy area and is expected...better them there, than somewhere else IMO...

It was... Originally I just saw/heard Superstition Wilderness, I probably could have read better! I guess still it had some purpose, but you're right.

So yeah, I was a little embarrassed when I found out it was Wave Cave but I'd rather err on the side of helping nature in general than the opposite. But I totally understand your point and agree with it.

However, maybe the thread was a wake-up call to those who prefer lemming hikes.

interesting tidbit I just read in Superstition Wilderness Trails West

Groups of fifteen must be separated on the trail by at least 30 minutes. The separated groups must camp out of sight of each other. ( sounds like texting is ok )

It was a Primitive Area in 1939
