Joly Javier!

Flash Flood Watch in effect with 1-3 inches of rain predicted, primarily in the Tuesday night to Wednesday night time frame. More possible locally and over favored terrain.

Could see some good runoff across the southeastern portion of the state.

I was actually just reading the forecast again and it's sort of funny. The forecast calls for .5 to .75" of rain tomorrow night. But there's only a 60% chance of rain. :-k

Annnndddd.... sure enough. Premature precipitation strikes again. It's actually pretty funny to read the forecast discussions about how exactly the tropical storm up and disappeared.

Hopefully we get some afternoon storms today to make up for it.
Its been a frustrating forecast so far with regards to potential rainfall, in fact it should be raining right now

Yes, I had plans to lazily sit here all day on my derriere, and now I feel obligated to go ride my bike or hike. Such a disappointment... Sunny in Williams!!

Well it was raining at my house this morning and I decided to lay in bed instead of deal with the muddy trail.

Had some rain in the area of the VA last night. Seemed about right. I don't know, I am not disappointed with rain totals so far this summer. Maybe that is becuase I have had a lot where I live, or Tucson has, or Flag has, but it seems like another wet summer. I just hope it leaves by mid-September, like a good Monsoon should.

Wandered around the forest last night between Payson and Pine, quite the Mogollon Rumble from the storm. May have missed the meteor shower but the "light show" from the storm made up for it.

As of today we are at 29. Twice there have been more. 32 in 2007 and 33 in 2011*. It's not self-propelled but I think this is a hazolution we can beat! :y:

We felt the same thing. Did a 5 mile urban hike around Coronado, Garfield and up Central Avenue this morning. It was almost pleasant this morning.

I seem to be surrounded by a clear, odorless gas. It is pressing down on me, everywhere. I can feel it, too, when I wave my arms around. Not sure what it might be.

Flagstaff has had an impressive wet August, 6.34 inches so far, and the last 2 days have each seen record rainfall amounts. 1.41 inches Friday and 0.94 yesterday. I think this month is easily the wettest month they have had since I moved there a decade ago, beating what I believe was the previous wettest (for me) January of 2010.
