A friend of mine emailed me this inflamitory article about Phoenix posted on a Philadelphia website. It was written due to the fact that we make take their place as the fifth largest city in the nation.

Any thoughts?

You better hope nobody reads that, because some seriously bad folks might take issue with it. :scared:

Reinforcing your "You talkin' to me Kokopelli" title fits

I'm gonna stuff a real philly sandwich down your throat Kokopelli (too long) :sl:

Who knows - but I think that the park went belly-up and was empty a long time before they tore it all down and built on the site (because I remember driving by the sign more than a few times when we were going out to the zoo).
Sounds like either total lack of interest(outdated) or poor management.
Probably both. It was rather outdated, and if I remember correctly, they ended up filing for bankruptcy.

Another tidbit of info...just next to Legend City was the site of the original Compton Terrace, started by Stevie Nicks' father (it moved a couple of years after Legend City closed)...I remember seeing a Fleetwood Mac concert and a Grateful Dead concert there once.

Nobody has to worry about that. I'm not even tough enough to eat a real cheese steak. I like mine with no onions or peppers, just steak and provolone. I don't mind cheddar or jack, but I can't believe the Philly folks like Cheez Whiz.

I humbly disagree, they're good.. but not quite up to snuff.. Tim and Joes were better IMO. :sl:
