Any line from the first 45 minutes of Full Metal Jacket. Just about all of which cannot be printed here, or would appear as:
"pumkpin pumpkin pumkin slimy bucket of pumkin pumpkin..." etc.

I was thinking the exact same thing. That movie is ripe with quotes "Only two things from Texas - Steers & ______." "I didn't know they stacked s_it that high." Even the last 45 minutes. "we ought to put you up for the congressional medal of... ugly!"
But how about some hiking and climbing quotes.
Here's one of my favorites:
I remember smelling something.
It was a really strong smell.
And it acted like a smelling salt,
to cut through all this delerium.
And I remember being really confused,
I couldn't understand what it meant.
It took me ages to to try
and work out what it meant.
I thought it was me.
And very slowly, I worked
it out, and I thought,
"I've crawled through the
latrine area of our camp site".
Touching the Void
or
He thanked me for trying to
get him down the mountain,
for all that I'd done up to the point,
where I cut the rope,
From Eiger Sanction
Woman Journalist: Tell me, Mr. Bowman, in your opinion do these men climb to prove their manhood, or is it more a matter of compensating for inferiority feelings?
Ben Bowman: Lady, why don't you go get yourself screwed. It would do you a lot of good.
Even one from The Matrix
Morpheus: Neo, sooner or later you're going to realize just as I did that there's a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.
And that's about all I have to say about that.

Here's sort of a hiking quote
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you." Jules (Samuel L. Jackson) in Pulp Fiction.

Brilliant. That is kind of a hiking quote. I friend of mine has a t-shirt bearing that entire quote. Here's another one...same movie, same character, also kind of a hiking quote. It works best in the context of dialog, with Vincent's (John Travolta) response:
VINCENT: So if you're quitting the life, what'll you do?
JULES: That's what I've been sitting here contemplating. I've decided, basically, I'm gonna walk the earth.
VINCENT: What do you mean, walk the earth?
JULES: You know, like Caine in "Kung Fu", just go from town to town, meet people, and get in adventures.
VINCENT: So you decided to be a bum?
JULES: I'll just be Jules -- no more, no less.
VINCENT: No Jules, without a job, residence, or legal tender you're gonna be a bum!
Bum is synonymous with hiker

HPP - If Jules joined HAZ and posted here that he was a homeless hiker someone would probably help poor old Samuel L. Jackson. If we're helpful to rally_toad I'm sure we would be helpful to Jules. ;)
