AZT # 12 Hammock

Any recommended hammock hanging camp spots on section #12 (Oracle ridge to American Flag)? Closer toward American Flag. I am asking because because it looks like most everything has been burned in the pictures that are posted?

Hm. I know that those of you who hang can be pretty creative but that section, especially when you get lower, is mostly scrub - small trees / bushes and cacti. You may find a few scrub oak that you can hang from, but???

we found a 1 mile section before you get to Apache Peak (heading Northbound) that was good for hammocks. There was not much before or after.
