AZ Trail Maintenance Weekend Blue Ridge
Posted: May 14 2017 8:12 am
A great deal of the AZT, was built through weekend work events. This event reprises that tradition in the cool pines of the Mogollon Ranger District.
Work will involve general maintenance of the Arizona Trail as it climbs the ridge south of the Blue Ridge Campground. This well-built trail just needs some love—digging new and cleaning out existing drains, de-berming, a little rock work, etc.
The group site at the campground has been reserved, and dispersed camping opportunities abound in the area. ATA will provide lunch on Saturday; let’s have a pot luck dinner Saturday evening.
