Salt Trail Trailhead Road directions

Howdy! So I'm looking at some of the GPX files that give road directions to the Salt Trailhead and I'm wondering if anyone has ever taken the cut off route. Road 6133. Does it save time or does it take longer due to worse road conditions possibly?

Got it. Thanks for the speedy reply. Heading up there tomorrow. A bit worried the water might not be blue due to some rain last week that made the guage spike to 16csf, but Vickie at the Cameron office said it wasn't enough to have a river flowing through the LCR so thought we would be good. I hope man it was dry up there for weeks before that rain...
