I will be visiting The Petrified Forest National Park on Tuesday and maybe Wednesday. Whats worth checking out? Mostly interested in Archaeological sites, but open to anything interesting. Already planning on Martha's Butte, Agate House and Puerco Pueblo. I would also like to check out the Painted Desert Petroglyphs site, but the park website doesn't give any info on it. Might stop at Newspaper Rock, but if you can't hike down to it I don't know if its worth it. Anyone have info on the Great House recently discovered in the park? Feel free to PM me. Thanks!
