3 day 2 night West Forkish suggestions?

I have Hiking experience (hermits trail was the toughest trail I have hiked) and plenty of wilderness camping experience, but my girlfirend has never "roughed" it. I took her to Sedona for her first Arizona experience and we hiked the West Fork of Oak Creek (day hike). Needless to say, she absolutely fell in love with Arizona and we are planning another trip in mid-June. This time, however, I want to "up the anti" a bit and let her experience the adventure of hiking/camping in Arizona. Looking for a West Forkish hike with the ability to find a spot to set up camp...easy to moderate hike (4-5 miles) water, a beautiful view, and the ability to camp and explore....suggestions???
Parsons Trail is my current pick to click, but would love to hear other suggestions in the sedona area.
Thanks
Bret

Consider Inner Basin near Flagstaff. It's at 8,000+ feet, so it should be cool. The Inner Basin trail is about 7 miles round trip, through aspen forests and mountain meadows. Lots of shade, there's a creek/spring that should be flowing and the wildflowers blooming. You can connect with several other trails for a more rigorous hike.

Wet Beaver Creek. The swimming possibilities are endless. The west end of West Clear Creek out of Camp Verde. More Sedona-ish than the East end (or upper/lower, however one refers to it). Good pools. Or possibly going back farther at West Fork. You have to hike 6 miles in order to camp. It is beautiful back there.

Is it too hot for West Clear Creek now? What temps should I expect tomorrow (6/8/03)?

Yup, it was too hot. 101 when we got back in the car. Glad to know that I could function in that heat, dousing in the stream helped a lot.

Too many Joe-Sixpacks around for me. Couple of kids were heading in as we came out, each were sucking on a quart of Cobra, and the girl was lugging a cooler.
