Best Rim For Full Moon Hike

I'm trying to come up with ideas for a full moon hike with one of my hiking partners from Idaho and planning on either late September or late October. Right now he is amenable to going to either rim to start.
Any recommended full moon hikes? Do you get better moonlight on the South Rim because it's a little more wide open?

In July 2008 my one-and-only Grand Canyon hike was a fabulous full moon hike on the South Kaibab trail. However, since I haven't even hiked any other GC trails,full-moon for not, I can't say if it would be better or worse than other hikes.
Tim (davis2001r6) put this event together and here's his triplog:

I have done a moonlight hike a couple of time on both BA and S. Kaibab and prefer S. Kaibab.. you don't have to creep on past the people camping at Indian Gardens and the light is more on the S. Kaibab.. we have hiked all the way to the river by moonlight and back.. the BA depending on the angle of the moon we didn't see any moonlight until we got down to Indian Gardens.. is so neat to do that ... I don't know about the north rim but would think you don't have much moonlight except a little bit on that trail..

Try the other "Rim" the General Crook Trail.
