Thru Hiking the AZ Trail

This is a request to any of the hikers of the Arizona Trail:
We are in the final planning stages of a thru hike of the AZ Trail. We plan to start hiking southbound on Monday, August 27th. Our plan is to hike the southbound route to Sunflower, or no matter where we are by the first week in October. Due to commitments, we are taking about a week or so off at that point then resuming the hike around October 10th or so but from a northbound route from the Mexico border.
With this adventure in mind, we would appreciate any input whatsoever. Also, any assistance would be greatly appreciated, especially where water is concerned. We have done our research and have done a considerable amount of backpacking over the years but we aren't naïve enough to think we have all the answers. If anyone would like to join in at any point along the route you are welcome. Thanks to all and be safe out there. Frank Robinson
