Instagram and fatalities

I've seen various comments on this site about social media publicizing cool outdoors places, which then attracts the masses - sometimes with bad results. I just read this article which shows an interesting example of it.

I've been of the opinion for a while that the downside of the information age is that all that information rarely includes context. Information in a vacuum can be quite dangerous. It's not just limited to Instagram photos and nature either.
Interesting article though.

To me it looks like a great place to go if it wasn't getting the publicity and crowds....
