Hey Y'all,

Just putting together the final touches to my gear list before I attempt the southbound trail. I have all the maps downloaded and I also got the app for my smartphone. Let me know if you think there is any pertinent info I should look into or search.

Before I hike a section, I try to e-mail the section steward, to ask if there's anything I need to be aware of, i.e. hard-to-follow parts, tricky spots, etc.; or anything I can do for the trail while I'm out there.
