Geronimo Trail SoMo north (lower) end parking

Does anyone have info or experience parking at the lower end of the SoMo Geronimo Trail? I want to plan a hike from that point out to Goat Hill and back, so I was hoping to avoid having to park at the Mormon TH. GoogleMaps satellite and street views show a very small, unofficial looking lot. Any danger of being towed from there? I'm thinking of a very early Sunday morning start.

It's ok to park there Chris. Go up 20th street. After you go through the round about it will be just a little farther on your left. The houses stop and the Boy Scout fence starts. There is a little dirt area to park half a dozen cars or so. The Geronimo Trail has a sign there. It goes east between the houses and the Boy Scout fence. Follow it east until the Boy Scout fence ends then turn right (south) and follow the trail into South Mountain.
