The Mountain Fire is burning on the Cave Creek Ranger District northeast of Scottsdale Arizona.

Air and ground resources have engaged the fast moving grass fire throughout the day. The fire is now north of the Bartlett Dam Rd. and east of Horseshoe Dam Rd. and is burning to the northeast in the vicinity of St. Clair Butte. No structures are threatened.

Bartlett Dam Rd is closed at the intersection with Cave Creek Rd.
