This is a couple of friends of mine. There is still a Flood Warning in that area until tomorrow afternoon. Tonto Basin received nearly 2" of Rain on Saturday and the area that they were in, Waterslides/Bull Canyon/Deep Creek, received as much as 4". The Sheriff's Dept. isn't even sure that they can access the bottom of that area yet by vehicle. It's going to be a very tough search for the next couple of days. If there's no changes, I'll probably try to get up there by Wednesday. There's conflicting reports about where they were in the Canyon when the Flood hit, but if the one report is correct and they were still near the top, the Search is going to be even harder. Tough times right now for SAR and the Canyoneering Community. These guys were extremely fit and highly advanced, experienced Canyoneers and very respected in the Canyoneering/Climbing circles. This is an incomprehensible tragedy.

So sorry to hear
@outdoor_lover. I figured someone on here knew them when I heard of the area involved, not a spot that beginners would go.
Hoping for a miracle.

The Water and Road was still so bad today that they had to airlift crews into the area. They focused their search on one area of the Canyon where he was last seen and they found him.
