Any suggestions for a electrolyte replacement drink mix that you add to water that does not contain sugar ?

This is my electrolyte suggestion, since I have now tested it. Go to the following link, at the bottom of the page
http://www.alacercorp.com/top.htm you will see ElectroMIX. It has no sugar, a very lite lemon/lime flavor. 1 packet makes one gallon (5 to a box, only $2.99) . This does not leave the nastys in your mouth, it has no sugar, it is only "the electrolytes of potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, and chromium". Select the "retailers" option at the top, to see where you can get it.
I found it at Water & Ice. The product is made by the same company as Emer'gen-C, good stuff.

In response to Kenny's reply: I'm not quite sure what the 'nasty's' are but I do use the Emer' gen C. I find it leaves a slight 'tinny' taste in my mouth, somewhat like iron. Does this have any of that?

I found ElectroMix at the Water & Ice located on Lindsay, just North of University (West side, North end of strip mall). I have not looked at Hi-Health, I think they carry Emer'gen-C. You can also order from the site, But I too would like to try before I buy.
Good Luck,
In ref to
CindyC, That taste i.e.: yuck I find only during extreme exertion, pushing your body to your limits, where your stomach can't absorb the excess sugars you just drank (sweet sports drink), this can lead to a heaving encounter. I don't know of anyone doing this who is not in a race situation, no need to push your self this hard on a hike

With heat stroke, it is important to get water and return your lost electrolytes, too much sugar is not good and will inhibit rehydration.

Visited the Water and Ice and they were out of the Electro-Mix until the end of the month. I purchased some Emer'gen-C and will try it on a night ride tonight or early am.
