Mid-may 3-4 day trip

Hi all! First time posting here.
I've been furloughed from work and was hoping to hike a bit to relieve built-up stress. I had hoped to do a figure-8 of the Cabin Loop for about 35 miles, but just read the forest order that the Bear Canyon area is closed.
Where else could I put together a 25-50 mile loop/round-trip with some water availability?

There are lots of loops that can be worked out along the Highline Trail #31, going up on the Rim / dropping back down. Check out the overview map towards the bottom of page for the linked guide above. Many of the drainages along the Highline will have running water. Upcoming weather looks good, cooling temps and some overcast.

If you're talking about the closure of the FR 95 road where it crosses Bear Canyon, (the trail uses the road there), I don't think you'll have a problem. Others have reported that despite the road closure, hiking through the canyon is not terribly difficult, even though there is currently no trail. See this recent triplog:

@toddak
I'd love to do the full Highline, but for now I'd have to out-and-back it. Perhaps I could do the Highline from 260 up See Canyon and back along the rim? Thanks for your suggestions!

@chumley
Oh, thanks for that! I'm still finding my way through HAZ and my search-fu is still lacking.
