What A Great State We Live In

2020 has been one ongoing dumpster fire so far but here is something positive to read from the intrawebs...
This is the only state that contains one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. It is the only state that contains all four North American deserts. The world’s largest contiguous Ponderosa pine forest stretches across this state. The country’s largest and second largest man made lakes are here. This is where you’ll find the southernmost ski resort and the southernmost mile high city in America. The longest unbroken stretch of Route 66 is here. There are more wilderness areas in this state than in the entire Midwest. There is only one place in the country where the U.S. Post Office still delivers mail by mule and it is here. This is where you’ll find the world’s largest solar telescope, the deepest dam and best-preserved meteor crater. It is arguably the most beautiful state in the union. It is our home. Hike Arizona...It Rocks!

I only authored the last four words. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

On the heals of a conversation I had with Jim Homer Simpson. Yes the state is truly awesome and even though I was born and raised here I realized that somewhere around April 19 2008 at 06:53 pm my knowledge and appreciation of it greatly expanded. HAZ and the fine folks herein I owe to that.

And edit...cut out the truly sappy OK Corral stuff among others.

What a coincidence! That's the exact moment HAZ forums started to get sarcastic!

@Hansenaz

But I've been here since '02! Though my first forum post wasn't until 07. Before that it was a certified internet safe space (before the term even existed!) -- with nothing but helpful people and kind comments.

For the duration of the 20 years that I've known Alston I've always believed he's needed more fiber in his diet.

Not necessarily full of anything...maybe just a little constricted. I think I know what "Bless your heart" is a euphemism for though...

It may interest you to know that studies have shown that diets having low to no fiber are the best for resolving chronic constipation. The opposite of the myths.
