The Mountain Road

Returning home from a sunrise bike road, the movie The Mountain Road starring James Stewert was on cable. This movie made in the 50's and was filmed along the Apache Trail (AZ 88) north east of Apache Junction. The movie story was about a group of GI's trying to stop the Japanese army moving up the Burma road during WW II. It was very cool seeing the segments of the Apache Trail.
