The sites that access Wilderness land should be managed for overuse through a permit system. Charging money won’t solve main problem which is too many people in too small of an area. Nonwilderness sites should not be managed the same as Wilderness sites. In my uneducated legal opinion, this is a blatant misunderstanding of the law that governs the land use.

Keep in mind that, if recent permit lotteries that have been implemented are any indication, a permit system would probably mean they charge $3 just to apply.
