Looking for some beta on if Turkey Creek is a pretty reliable water source/if anyone has been there in the last little bit. I'm planning a trip that would potentially get me to the end of the day somewhere along the stretch, maybe a mile South of the junction with Beaver so would appreciate any info

Regarding reliability:
There are about 10 water reports on HAZ:
[ Turkey Creek ]
It was never reported dry.

Based on my one trip there several years ago it would seem that during monsoon season the likelihood of finding pools seems pretty high, though also expect sections with no surface water.

As I recall, the confluence area is more dry, wider, and bouldery than farther up (south) either one of them. Will you find a pool in that first mile? Possibly. But I would plan for the likelihood of needing to go farther upstream before you encounter water. Except in times of heavy runoff don't plan on finding any flowing water that far north.

I was in upper Turkey canyon 3 weeks ago. (Due straight east of gentry spring) It was pretty obvious there hadn’t been any rain yet this summer and there was still intermittent pools. The last few weeks have started to get consistent rain, and more is on the horizon so I imagine the water situation will improve. As chumley said the farther north you go, generally the rockier and dryer it gets
