AZ-260 Expansion east of Star Valley

"Lion Springs Improvement Project" will add one lane, each direction, to the only 2-lane portion of 260 between Star Valley and the top of the Rim.

That section of 260 is called the Star Valley Grand Prix.

24 years after ADOT completed the plan and environmental assessment to do this, and 12 years after the most recent segment of the 260 expansion was completed, here we are. The news is ... there's still no news. Except to be on the lookout for some news. Maybe.

At least AZ-260 is less frightening than I-17 or AZ-87.
