Well - I missed it.

I had a rough week schedule wise and I ended up sort of neglecting my wife all week - so, I chose to spend the night on a date with my sweetheart.

You all took a back seat.

But I was very disappointed that I couldn't make it.

Good times! Even though I showed up a little late. Hey Brian! Need help with the rest of that beer? And did I miss out on the HAZ patches?

Well it just so happened that because Joe wasn't there, Rodney presented me with the only HAZ patch so far. It's very cool! Rodney posted in the BBQ forum that he has the other 100 Joe ordered. So hunt Joe down for the rest!!!

I had a great time talking with all those I met, thank you so much for the time and effort everyone took in making this happen, I met some beautiful people last night, my life feels fuller and richer for having met you. I wish time could have permitted me, the opportunity to meet and talk with all that were there, I hope we can have events like this more often, it was fun.

Don't you worry Aaron I think that Brian has that beer under control, that or the beer has him under control, I'm never really sure which it is...

Ditto on all the above comments. I truly had a great time, which is saying something for someone that is not a true social animal.

I posted on the BBQ thread but since this is going I will post my thanks here as well. I had a great time and would like to thank all who worked so hard to put it together! Sheri you are a peach and Tom ya done great and Matt, George and Geovana (sorry if I spelled that wrong) kudos for a job well done. You are all terrific and if I left anyone out thank you too!!!! I had a great time and hope to see you all out on the trail! Or perhaps even at future events! What a great group of people! I am privlaged to be a small part of this group!

I had a great time at the BBQ even though I postponed the mainstem black river trip over the weekend. I'm looking forward to the next social event but even better would be sharing a hike with some of you.

Thanks for all the effort to making the BBQ happen. Loved the food and company and the pictures that I've seen so far are great.

I will be rescheduling the Black River Camping trip so keep your eyes peeled. If anyone has a strong interest in this trip then let's compare calendars and start making plans.
