After 31 days and 72 summits, Mr. Jornet’s objectively absurd project was complete. He covered 629 miles on foot and biked an additional 2,568 miles, which outdistanced this year’s Tour de France by more than 400 miles. And he did all that while amassing 403,691 feet of elevation gain.

I was following this effort; it was absolutely nuts some of the routes he was doing in pretty sketchy conditions. There are some videos on his social media that make my palms sweat.

About 55yrs ago my family moved to Colorado and with my brothers and other teenage friends we started hiking 14ers. At the time the legendary accomplishment of Cleve McCarty (a Boulder Dentist) was revered by all. He did all 54 CO 14ers in 53 days if I remember right...with car rides in between.
This accomplishment by Killian is truly beyond comprehension.
