Aside from HAZ of course, where do you go when you are on the web? CNN.com or Nudeworld.com? I thought it might be interesting if we found out other websites of interest....HAZ tops everyone's list I'm sure, but were else do you get your on-line information...

My start page is MSNBC which I've customized to give me the info I'm interested in.
Most of the rest are for personal info, i.e. Yahoo finace to check my stocks and see if I can continue this life of leisure or should I practice asking, 'Would you like fries with that?'

MY start page is Google.. from there I usually launch into CNN then Fark.
I hit HAZ a few times a day as well. Since I sit in front of a computer 8 hours a day at work, I do a lot of surfing. If the D-backs are playing, I set up at ESPN to follow the game.
No particular destination

I always start my day off by looking at the comics. I have a list of about 9 different comics that I view every morning to start my day off right. Then I go to MSNBC and check the news. From there it's a crapshoot.
Recently I have been checking Monster.com for jobs (my contract with Intel is up in 3 months) and I also check my 3 hotmail accounts on a daily basis. Hotjobs.com also comes on my screen every few days.
I admit that I do enjoy looking for strange and unusual sites. I will frequently find a topic that interests me and do some research on it just to see what is out there.
I am also a big fan of theonion.com - just a fun site.

I also start at Google. On a daily basis I will visit Consumer Reports, New Scientist, Backpacker and HAZ.

Hi All!
We log on to msn/hotmail. Having been posting pics on Yahoo, and lately I've been checking out ridingarizona.com . It's similar to HAZ, which I check out daily (my fav, of course), but it doesn't have a TrailDex. I also check the boards at hgtv.com its great for home improvement/crafting stuff. I really wanted to win that house they gave away on the east coast, but didn't. Looks like another long hot summer in Arizona. Lastly, I do a lot of research while on-line for absolutely everything I'm up to using google.com
Ck checked out Az2020, pretty cool. That 20/20 challenge sounds interesting. It lead me to
http://www.epeakregister.com/ Has anyone signed up there?? I know we have a lot of accomplished hikes here.

My daily checks are HAZ, Ebay, and US Blades in Michigan to see how my son is doing in his hockey league! There is another site I check occasionally that may be of interest to all of you:
http://www.guzguide.com. This site specializes in longer backpacking hikes, and is Arizona based.

I especially like this section...
http://www.adventurehiking.com/GrnCynAdv.html
48 miles, 26,000 ft in under two hours, ummm, wow.
Sid's time must be around 11-14hours
judging by his Nankoweap Trail time and these easier 50M times

I think I'd be lucky to do it in 2-3 days...lol

Search note:
Google is good, no dogging that... Reason being it has more search bots than everything else combined (I think) HAZ gets hit with more google bots than you can imagine
Man I hate to give away all the good secrets but you guys deserve it...
I use CopperNic Pro. It's a program that searches a bunch of search engines and returns the best results. These are real results, not advertised results.
All the big boys (Alta, Google, Yahoo, Excite, etc.) put 'paid for links' at the top. Which is perfectly fine except for the 'non' relevant links. Google and Yahoo clearly state 'advertised' but the others don't. What I don't care for about Google is they 'cache' content. That's seems border-line illegal in my mind. But hey!, if HAZ goes down you can still find parts on google!
Anyhow, CopperNic is at
http://www.copernic.com/products/copern ... index.html
this is the free version so there's advertising
(But at least you know it's advertising with a photo!)

I signed on there after exploring the AZ 20/20 and realizing I'd finished a few of them...so I thought what the hell.
I've been checking out some of the suggested websites everyone has been posting....THANKS! I love finding new spots with good info...

Concerning Google and caching:
Ive searched for and found certian websites thru google... For some reason the website will no longer exsist. But Google will have it cached, thereby displaying the site, even after it's gone down.
Im able to get the info I need..
I think thats pretty cool.

Napster? File sharing is better, not just MP3s. Try Kazaa or Limewire or audiogalaxy or morpheous.

Be advised that the p2p filesharing sites nearly all contain spyware.
Kazaa, limewire, bearshare.. all guilty. They spy on you browsing habits then phone home with the report. Download adaware to clean up your system.
Snick: Ive never seen anything on SA that should cause as earwashing...
