Here's an FYI for everybody:
AZ State Parks Board is seeking outdoor enthusiasts to serve on their advisory boards. There are currently 10 openings for three advisory boards including the Arizona State Committee on Trails (AZSCOT). ASCOT represents non-motorized trail interests and promotes, develops and preserves non-motorized trail opportunities throughout the state. Parks staff works with AZSCOT to 1) advance and promote non-motorized trail use; 2) provided technical assistance; 3) promote trail management and development, and 4) provide trails-related information and education opportunities throughout Arizona.
The deadline for submitting an application for any of the advisory committees is Friday, September 26, 2003. More information is available at azstateparks.com under partnerships or by calling (602) 542-4662
