Anyone interested in going up south peak of Superstition Mountain via glyphic canyon tomorrow morning?

Sorry about the short notice.

You get up too early, and Michigan is playing Notre Dame.

Yeah, thanks Aaron, fat lot of help you are. Besides I don't know how anxious I am to follow an airline monkey into the wilderness!

Hooked-up with MatGilbert and HikerInGilbert to explore the upper portions of the "Hiero" canyon(s). See Mat's "rating" for this "hike" (you remember you had companions up there, right, Mat?).

At about the 80% point there were cairns indicating up two waterways (gotta luv 'em, right Mat?). Naturally we chose the wrong one, and though probably not impossible, it would be right in the same room with it. After descending back to the cairn that seemed the initial one, we did more checking and found another set indicating the other waterway! Three or four cairns later we could see the probable route to the summit/ridgeline.

Our planning and some other issues (102+ degrees going down to the TH, etc.), dictated a retreat and descent.

Next time we'll go over the top!
