Many of you HAZ'ers know my feelings about the cancerous, hideous, blight of the "Valley of the smog" opps, I mean "Valley of the Sun". And I generally avoid any travels south of Black Canyon.

However, I have to say, I was down in the Meas area, northeast of the Ellisworth and Southern.......A marine I had enlisted 20 years ago! asked that I attend his retirement party at his house.

What impressed me though. I took the 101 off 17 down to 60! For the first time. Quick, fast, and when I left, I hauled my behind outta there the same way and didn't rest until I was at Sunset Point.

In response to Shi's reply: Rush hour! I did consider that actually, but my mom always said "never look a gift horse in the mouth".
Traffic was moderate, clipping at around 65mph and it was my first time traveling this loop, so I was kind of sight seeing from the middle lane trying to figure out where I was at.

: Oh, and I did kind of fibbed. I was parched, so I got off at 19th Ave and 101, traveled up to Deer Valley to a CIRCLE K (should Rodney read this) and grabbed a Strawberry-Banana Sobe.

Abe In addition to the above confession, I note there are several ARS violations contained within your testimony!

1-003a. $50 fine...anyone that makes reference to the Valley's ambience as being smog!
1-003b. $75 fine...All retirement parties are to be open to the public and must be advertised as such two weeks in advance.
1-003c. $500 fine...All first time Loop users must obey the speed sign as posted..."Get out of the way or off the Loop!"
1-003d. $1000 fine...Anyone hauling behind on the Loop must obtain a permit in advance.
1-003f. Any of the above violations will be waved upon display of the proper HAZ Identification.

Note: There is an ARS in the works to address the ill side effects of mixing strawberry & banana...it is incomplete as of this date.

You sure are lucky that you qualify for ARS 1-003f! Your case can be settled with a warning and 50 posts a week for the next 3 weeks!
