Time to be thankful/time to look ahead

It's the time of year which brings out the sentimentalist in me; to look back on the year and to look ahead. Here are some of the things I'm thankful for in a hiking/nature kind of way:
I am thankful for- people who love the wilderness and protect it;
people who stay out of the wilderness so there is more
room for the rest of us;
Hiking guides and sites like this one to aide the explorer
Not all places require fees and restrictions;
The sight of my Jeep after a long canyon loop in utah
when I left my topo map and was exiting on memory
only!!;
Spectacular sunrise and sunsets I have seen;
All the wonders of nature it has been my privilege to
experience;
The explorers and ancient ones who left wonderful
relics of their passing still seen today;
I look forward to- Going to New Mexico to photograph at White Sands;
Anza Borrego trips- a deserts' desert;
El Camino Del Diablo- to hike and drive- Tinaja Atlas
Aqua Dulce Mtns, Pinnacate Lava flow;
A traverse of the Galiuros- lengthwise
The spring/fall So. Utah trips ( since 1988);
Safford/Morenci trail/backpack
Any trail in the Chiricahuas and Pinaleno's
Exploring in and around Wickenberg
The Gila wilderness
Although this is not a poll, what say any of you regarding 2003/2004??
