I am putting together a trip to canyoneer/swim/hike/crawl Tonto Creek over Memorial Day W/E.
The excursion will start from Little Green Valley east of Payson, taking the Hell's Gate Trail to Tonto Creek.
Starting first thing Saturday, we will exit near Gisela on Monday, or possibly Tuesday, depending on the group's preference.

Hey Kurt, I'm planning on doing this one again. So was Pete, but we'll see when he gets back.

Since the forum's closing down soon, I'll PM you with my number, if you'll do the same for me, one of us ought to be able to reach the other by then.

I would be interested in that also. From what Pete said about it , it sounds like a great time. I know he was upset about not being able to go this year.

I realize it's still a bit primative but by May it'll hopefully be more functional with a rolling reply thread similar to the forum on each posted Group Hike. Which will also be archived on the trail page itself so future visitors can see what it took to make that hike happen.
