Gore Tex care

Great to have the forum back, Joe! THANKS!
I tried to find the info I'm looking for via search but must not have used the correct search words.
I seem to remember a forum conversation about washing Gore Tex so as to protect/enhance/improve its water repellancy integrity.
I've been hiking a lot in the rain since late October and my Gore Tex seems more like a sponge than a water repeller. Hope someone can refresh my memory on how to "rejuvenate" my Gore Tex.
Thanks!
