Short notice. No worries--probably my loss.
Question: Anyone been in Aravaipa within last month that can give me an idea about night time temps. I am looking for current on the ground data. I am trying to decide which of my bags to take for an over night tomorrow....could use a little feedback from anyone's recent trip.
Thank you!!

I went in May and used a thin poncho liner (About a qtr inch thick). It was warm enough for me. My son used a 32 degree bag and was too warm. The night time temp was in the high 50's or low 60's. In the morning I only needed a windbreaker.
I did see my first coral snake!!

In response to tkknc's reply:
Was it doing this?
(from

"Its bright coloration serves as a warning to predators, but if provoked, it will bury its head in the coils of its body and raise its tail to expose the underside. The coral snake then everts the lining of its cloaca, making a popping sound to startle enemies."

Yes, that is why it's tail is curled. The sound is quite loud, for such a small snake.
Thanx

Thank you! Night time lows mid 70's, Phoenix had low 80's at same time.
