It was a cool article. Made me want to go hike the canyon Sunday morning. Instead I had a nice day of cleaning my garage and working on my truck.

Hah, at least you have a garage! I went to San Diego to surf and there no waves to whole weekend. I haven't been to the GC yet, I need to get myself up there. It's on the list...the REALLY long list...
I wanna go!

i can't get enough of the grand canyon.going on a 2-3 day backpack down new hance, escalante, tanner trail in oct. with my freind matt.can't wait.went on a 7 day backpack in the spring which i will eventually post on this site.also done several day hikes on and off the n. and s. rims over the past few years.my girlfreind gets pissed off because i love the canyon more than her

.anyway i always feel it tugging at me to come back to its gaping chasm and roam its less used trails.pushing my body at times close to its limits.it is an intense rush not to be had anywhere else for this is the grand canyon.the greatest natural wonder in the world. like the guy said for some people people this place is a once in a life time opportunity.were so lucky to live here in arizona with such a great place 3 hours away.and to think there are native arizonans that have never seen it.what a shame.

well my girlfreind noted to me an error in my posting. it should have read that i love her more than the grand canyon. thankyou jan for being so understanding about me getting carried away with my obsession.
