I was looking to go back to Cibecue Creek for a day trip and possibly take some new people out there as well.
I'm not sure how everyone would feel about the $15 per person (so i hear) permit. Is this the current price?

Does anyone have any recomendations for other similar trails.
I was looking at Salome Jug on here and it looks pretty good.

any inputs/opinions appreciated.

wont you need a native Apache guide for Cibeque?

you got a winner with the Jug. See http://www.toddshikingguide.com
If you want to make a long fun w/e you could access the jug from the Hells Hole trail, for a 6-7 mile one way trip. Hope you enjoy solitude for that one

In response to mikeinFHAZ's reply:
I don't think that you need a guide if you are hiking from the Salt River to the first waterfall. Anything upstream from the first waterfall requires a guide.

The fall at the Jug could be unsettling to people that have never been canyoneering before, or people that don't like heights. It is a sweet trip though.
