In response to sidhayes' reply:
IM doing the 2 day event so I will be assigned a group and that group will be assigned the order inwhich to do their climbs. You won`t find out your group until Saturday morning.

In response to sidhayes' reply:
As far as I know it is not timed, however the first finishers will be entered into a drawing to win a prize (and as I understand it, the prizes are pretty good!)

I am doing the one day challange (Sun). The events are timed: 2 day starts at 8A and ends at 5P (Sat and Sun) with check in begining at 7A, the one day Starts at 6A and ends at 5P (both Sat and Sun) with check in at 5A. The presentations and raffles are Sunday at 5:30P-7P.

I just spoke with one of the organizers. Technically the challenge is NOT timed. The only timed aspect is that you have to complete the challenge before it ends. Lets say one person starts at eight and the other at ten and they both finish at the same time, neither of them could be said to have beaten the other because no one is keeping track. Anyone who finishes the event before it ends will be entered into the raffle. Again, no one will be standing around with a stopwatch or watching a clock or anything.

Sid, Matt, anybody
How did it go?
I've been curious what was defined as "South Mountain"

Joe, South Mtn. was ascended by the Holbert trail to the summit road and the road to the Gila Lookout.
