Pusch Peak (from Linda Vista)

I've done Pusch Peak a total of 3 times now. I see it's not very popular.
But it's just under 2 miles to the top from the Linda Vista trailhead for a 360 panoramic view (@ 5300 ft), on the 3rd time (having learnt the trail) I was just under 3 hours roundtrip, which makes it a great half-day local (Tucson) fitness jaunt. Up after breakfast and down before lunch.
I have a webpage on it. National Geographic Topo! tracklog. Google Earth view.

I wonder if there is a shorter route? Cowgill & Glendering mentions it is even shorter up from McGee. If so please let me know.

I have also done it about three times, but always from Linda Vista. Pete's book may be a bit outdated now--a lot of the former access points to the Front Range are developed with houses now.
Peakbaggers group in Southern AZ Hiking Club know ALL the ins and outs of access. (Cowgill and Glendening started that club back in the 50's.)They hike all over that area, as there are several other peaks adjacent to Pusch Peak they like to climb. To find out more about that club go to
http://www.sahcinfo.org Very good club--lots of options--about 100 hikes a month are offered. I'm still a member and I don't even live in Tucson any more!

Linda Vista route is the shortest one. I have done it from Pima Canyon and also direct from the west using the ridgeline. These other routes have no trails to ascend the peak. The Linda Vista way is the fastest.

In response to sidhayes' reply:
Thanks for the confirmation about the route.
It's a shame there is no shorter way than the Linda Vista trailhead.
The first half-mile or so is also a horse trail.
It'd have been nice to be able to avoid all that horse poop. I guess the bag-out rule doesn't apply to horses :-)

Linda is the fastest, most direct way up. All others involve bushwhacking except the route from Table...

Calle Concordia doesn't require bushwhacking. It connects with the Linda Vista route before you start scaling the peak.
