2 day backpack trip

Anyone ever backpacked Chevelon Canyon.

I have backpacked upstream from Chevelon Crossing. Great swimming. Not much in the way of a trail, lots of route-finding and bushwhacking. I went during monsoon, so plenty of water and very green. This area is very close to the Potato Complex fire, but I'm told it isn't closed at the moment.
Chevelon Canyon is 40 miles long. I would like to see more of it someday!
