Lightweight Down Sleeping Bag

Looking for a 3 season lightweight down sleeping bag and just had to ask all of you for your opinions on what you use now and pros/cons. I'm really leaning toward the Mont-bell Super Stretch Down Hugger #4 which I believe weighs in at 1 lb 5 oz and is rated comfortable to 30 degrees. I figure if it's colder than that I either have no business being out there or can get a silk liner to insulate further.

I was also looking at the Big Agnes bags but don't find anything that compares weight wise.

So if you can give me your opinions on what you are using or what you've heard about, I'd really appreciate it.

TIA

Trish

get the Mountain Hardwear Phantom 32 womens, in short. Fits to 5'6" its 1lb 4oz.
Montbell overrates the temps by about 8 degrees.
Just going by the weight and temp rating, no way it can be 30 at 1lb 5oz because the stretch elastic comes in at several ounces. I would call it a 38 degree bag.
Look at the Marmot Atom too.

I was going to suggest the Mountain Hardwear womens 32 also. I have the men's one and it's the best bag I've had yet!

Trish, I have a Phantom 32 as well, I think I got an awesome deal at like $145 shipped at the time last November. It's my summer bag as well. I'll use it just about all year until winter in the canyon then switch to my mountainsmith vision 15 degree.

I always use a bag liner now as well. Helps keep it clean plus feels much better on the skin and adds a few degrees of warmth.
