Same here Matt - no idea what happened. But it started happening late Friday afternoon. At first it looked like the site was hacked - but now it's a weird consulting firm. No idea what is going on.

If anyone finds out, please post a message.

I noticed this too. I was up in the Sedona area this weekend, and since my hotel had wireless access, I was going to see if someone was in the area and might want to day hike. That was later Friday, and it was giving me an Error 400 or something like that. Now I get to the consulting firm as well. Does anyone know how to get ahold of Todd or Mike (they are the two principally responsible for the site, right?), or anyone else for that matter and find out what happened? It is annoying because I just came back onto the forum after a year away, and now some company has hijacked it away or something. Grr...

It looks like it will be back up in a few days or so. A lot of us AZHers also post here on HAZ. And we have been using HAZ to send private messages to one another as well because we may not have each other's private email or phone numbers. So here is what I received from another HAZ/AZH member in a private message:

"And now to the disclosed recipients:
Sorry for the agony and confusion and stress. We had problems on the server Friday afternoon. Friday night's storm killed our office phones and data link and M....... and I are in Nevada, Missouri right now installing database systems. I am currently trying to get the site rolling. Sorry for the delay y'all, go hiking and work off the worry."

Thanks for your concern. I have been worried too, as I do enjoy that website. Good advice, too, that last sentence. But I'm cleaning my garage this weekend!

In response to azbackpackr's reply:
We've got server issues that we can hopefully remedy soon.

Thanks,
GTG

I still get some weird "Baywatch Compliance services" or whatever.

However this has motivated me to start to work on my own "hiking/photo" blog---

Hope it is back up soon.
