A 62-year-old man who vanished Monday afternoon while on a photography shoot in the rugged Paria Canyon wilderness area of northern Arizona was found by searchers early today.
The Coconino County sheriff's office said James Aalberts was tired and thirsty but was O-K. It says he was able to return to his campsite and colleagues.
An air and ground search was started after Aalberts failed to return to camp after going out to take some photos Monday afternoon. Aalberts was located just before 2 a-m this morning.
The wilderness area is north of the Grand Canyon, about six miles from the Utah border.
