Does anyone have any experience with the Grand Canyon north rim, dropping in west of Tiyo point down to Shiva saddle and into Phantom Creek?

I'd suggest that call and speak with Eb (link below) - I met him @ the head of Phantom Creek after he dropped in on the route you've named. From what I gathered, he had done the route numerous times.

I have only been to Shiva Saddle. We used a GPS to go cross country to the drop off . It is sort of trail like here and there. Not too difficult but slow. You need to carry lots of water unless you are very sure it has rained recently. mary
