Not sure how many of you got to see it, but the Supers were "snowed in" today, and I got some pictures before it melted. Wish I could have gone hiking and got better one's, but these will do :) 4 Peaks looked quite nice.

this is what it looked like farther east, along the Two Bar Ridge Trail....

And I don't know that you would really have wanted to be out hiking in that. I was, and after 12 hours, it wasnt so much fun.

I tried Flatiron on sunday, but had to turn around at the "waterfall" because ice was building up on the rocks. That area of the hike got around 1/4 inch of snow in the 15 minutes that I was hanging around there, and the puddles were turning from slush to ice rather quickly. It was actually pretty neat to watch, since it really just started snowing as I got to that point, although lower down it was just pouring rain, and pretty miserable. I'm glad I got a late start though, since if I had started earlier I would've had to come down through that area later in the day when it was probably all ice.

There's a lot of snow out there today. I can see snow to the base of flatiron. And the Estrella's and mcdowells are white too!

I have a stupid meeting this afternoon. :(

I hope some of you get out there and take photos and have fun for me! :y:

There's snow on Tom's Thumb. I ran out and got a couple pics as I happened to have my camera with me. The Thumb is in clouds again though.... maybe getting more snow!

I can't see the Supers from my work but my shop is at the base of Black Mountain in Cave Creek and there's snow just north of us. Maybe at Spur Crossing :)

Just saw the light dusting on the Estrellas. So cool!
I couldn't see Barry Goldwater Peak in the White Tanks, but the radio summit didn't appear to have any snow at all. Something tells me the 65ft between the two doesn't matter.

6:45 PM in Apache Jct, 41 degrees, windy with rain.

However the weather report is not for decreasing temperature during the night.

Tomorrow will be partly sunny with a predicted high of 58 degrees.

Good time for a ride up Apache Trail till the end of the asphalt or maybe even to Fish Creek bridge.

6:54 PM - OOPs, that last rain squall covered the ground in my front yard with what looks like flour!
Yup, snow in the city of AJ....

Drove through a nasty hail storm on 60 heading toward Scottsdale from the Supes just a while ago. The ice/sludge on the road was thick and scary. Had to drop down to about 30mph for a good ways.

Just had to tow a truck out of a ditch near Mining Camp. It was snowing at a 3"/hour rate for a good half hour or so. The desert was white and my truck looked like it was in Colorado. The paved roads roads were actually snow-covered. Idaho and Broadway was a slushy, snowy, mess! Awesome day! :y:
