I want to try to plan a backpacking trip for my fiance and I in May--he always talks about the Chiricahua Mountains. I don't have much info on them...can anyone help or direct to links on here that could help me?

Is May even a good time to go there? We live in Scottsdale...
Thanks

The letter "C" produces all kinds of results

Chiricahua Wilderness Hikes
Chiricahua Monument Wilderness Hikes
Chiricahua NM National Park Hikes

May looks pretty snazzy!

Another option here:

May-August is the ideal season for the wilderness. July and August are the best as the raspberries are out, but any summer month is perfect up there.
