This one is north of Cottonwood in the Sycamore Canyon Wilderness. its only at 3600', but very shady and level walking from the description I read. total hike distance is 7.4 miles, 200' drop at the beginning descending to the creek, and then all level. it's the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, so coming back down on I-17 shouldn't be the usual traffic mess. Departure time should be probably about 6am.

You'll probably get your feet wet on this one. There's some nice rock hopping so we'll see who slips up 1st.

My friend Ted is also in. He says our other friend Luigi is interested, so it might be up to 4 for now.

I might be interested, have to see what the plans are for that weekend. Might try to find something that takes me a couple days. I will keep you posted.

Done.
I thought maybe it was bases on triplogs and how many miles you hike.

Can I be Sasquatch Kokopelli?
I'm still trying to figure out which hike I'm going to do tomorrow (Sat. Aug 11)

Thanks Joe. It would have taken me forever to finally make a decision. If I ever do, or if I change my mind, I'll let you konw. I like that title, though. It certainly suits me. If you ever see me on the trail or my vehicle at the trailhead, you'll know it's me.

This should be easy. It's still going to be a little hot but plenty of shade and lots of water available.
