Does anyone have a suggestion for a pretty hike through this creek area that will be relatively easy? I sprained my ankle a couple months ago, so I don't want stress my ankle too much.
Thanks for any advice you can share!

Most of the creek segment is on private property. Christoper Creek Gorge is limited access due to road construction and you do not walk alonside the creek. Suggest a vist to Tonto Creek nearby. Take the turnoff to Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery (Which you can and I recommend a visit) and park at Horton Creek trailhead. Horton Creek does not have much stream side hiking. You can walk hike along Tonto Creek, there is no designated trail just paths to fishing holes. See Canyon trail is also nearby but I have not visited since the fire and I do not know if it is open to access. The folks at the Christopher Creek store can fill you in with current information.
